Find out what types of companies there are in Shropshire that you would like to work for. County Training can help you to approach them to secure an apprenticeship or work experience.
Speak to people including friends, family and employers. This way, if an apprenticeship becomes available, they will know who to turn to!
4. Get Advice
Talk to County Training and careers advisors for advice on your options and what you need to do to achieve your goals.
5. Be Prepared
The competition for apprenticeships is high, so you need to start thinking about what you would like to do and where, as soon as possible.
