This is an exciting opportunity to join a great employer, gaining and enhancing your skills while working towards a level 2 qualification in Business Administration. This position is based at Monkmoor Campus in Shrewsbury.
Are you looking for a way to develop your work experience, gain a qualification and earn some money at the same time? If the answer is yes then this could be for you. The NHS are looking for an apprentice to join the Child Health Services team as a receptionist/administrator. You will be fully supported on an apprenticeship course with Shropshire County Training.
The main purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for all face to face and telephone calls to the Multi-Agency Family Support Services at the Monkmoor Campus. You will also handle general administration tasks. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Reception duties to include meeting and greeting
- Managing enquiries from Health Care Professionals, Parents and Carers and external agencies in a professional manner
- Signposting individuals to other services when required
- Communicating with service users and other health care professionals
- Maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the day to day administrative duties
- To have knowledge of and adhere to policies
This post is for a fixed term of 13 months and during that time you will receive training and on-going support to enable you to use the systems and processes required to undertake the role and complete your apprenticeship, you will gain valuable work experience and a recognised qualification: QCF Level 2 in Business Administration.
