APPRENTICE SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIVE

Apprenticeship Details

Main Function - To ensure that all stock held on the shop floor is controlled in an efficient manner

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control and replenishment of stocks
• Liaise with Supervisor to ascertain future requirements, to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time
• Ensure all stock, in all locations, is correctly labelled, with appropriate part number
• Housekeeping of all associated shop floor stock
• Provide cover for other Stores personnel during holidays, sickness and busy periods
• Any other duty deemed reasonable by the Materials Manager
• Assist with facilities maintenance
