City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe and Responsible Use of Veterinary Medicines
About the course
This qualification aims to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to use veterinary medicines safely, responsible and in accordance with current legislation. The qualification is endorsed to the animal group that the candidate is trained and assessed in.
By the end of the course you can expect to be able to do the following
- Responsibly use veterinary medicines
- ; Safely store and administer veterinary medicines
- Be prepared to return to the college for the assessment with an independent assessor. It will be made up of both practical assessment and one to one questioning. The recommended duration for this is between 2.5 to 3.0 Hours.
- Be prepared to have a photo, which will be on your qualification card on completion of successful assessment and certification.
