BSL Sign Language – Improvers (Oswestry)
About the course
If you have completed the first term of our British Sign Language (BSL) course (or an equivalent) Then this is the course for you.
This is a course for people who have completed the first term of BSL.
The course is divided into three terms, these will include the following topics:
- Introduction to BSL: – meeting people, using numbers, weather, transport and directions
- Conversational BSL: – at home, people, animals and objects, using numbers, interests and activities, and weather.
- BSL at School, work College or – Everyday conversation, getting around, exchanging information, refreshments, and using numbers and weather.
You will need:
A pen and a notebook.

Handouts and worksheets will be provided during the course.
Sue Hall is an experienced practitioner and teacher of British Sign Language, who is passionate about sharing her skills so that more people feel confident to communicate with the deaf community.
