Equality of Learning For All

Additional Support

If you require additional support with your learning, please let us know. Our experienced and flexible tutors will adapt their teaching styles to match the way you learn best. We can help by providing individual or small group tuition, or more specialist support.

Learners with Physical Disabilities and/or Limited Mobility

Our aim is to ensure that people with disabilities can participate fully in all aspects of learning and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments to our provision to ensure this. If you have a disability that affects the way you are able to use our services, please talk to us so that we can discuss the best way to help make your time with us easier. County Training centres have been adapted to help improve physical access, and many of our courses are flexibly designed to help learners overcome other difficulties. We have designated parking spaces in our car parks, close to the main entrances and our reception staff will provide assistance where required. We have unisex toilets for people with disabilities.

Hearing Impaired Learners

If you are deaf or have a hearing impairment, we can arrange a British Sign Language interpreter or other suitable communicator to assist you. Hearing loops are also available at each centre.

Visually Impaired Learners

If you are blind or visually impaired we will provide information in Braille, large print or on audio tape upon request.

Dyslexic Learners

If you have dyslexia and require additional support, please let us know so our staff can adapt their teaching styles to best suit your needs.

If English is Not Your First Language

If English is not your first language we can make arrangements to assist you with your learning. We can also provide leaflets in other languages upon request.
