One of Ludlow’s Best Loved Pubs Looking for Next Generation of Chefs
The Charlton Arms in Ludlow is looking for two apprentice chefs to join the team. Owned by Cedric Bosi, the Charlton Arms offers traditional pub classics like steak and chips and some modern dishes.
The Charlton is the only Michelin award Bib gourmand in Shropshire and the midlands also voted number 43 in the Estrella gastro pub of the year 2020.
Cedric Bosi from the Charlton Arms said “The apprentice will have access to a wealth of experience at our restaurant on the banks of the river Teme. In a town, where there are not that many career opportunities, this is a great chance to work for an award-winning business and learn from the best in the industry. The apprenticeships will be offered in conjunction with County Training, based at Barnaby House, Mill Street, which will offer a formal qualification after an initial interview ahead of the training programme.”
Business Development Officer Kerry O’Brien said “For anyone wanting to start a career in hospitality, the apprenticeship route is ideal. Candidates will not only earn a wage and gain hands-on experience but also a Level 2 City and Guilds production Chef qualification, which is in high demand within the industry.”
County Training is urging anyone that is interested in these opportunities to make contact by calling 0345 678 9023 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
