County Training praised for EPA success

What is EPA?

EPA is the End Point Assessment that comes at the end of the new apprenticeship standards. It varies  for each vocational area but usually contains an observed assessment, professional discussion and a multiple-choice test. This assessment is to confirm the relevant industry knowledge, skills and behaviours have been achieved .

How is County Training supporting learners through EPA?

At County Training our assessors are learner focused and do everything they can to support their apprentices throughout their journey and through to their end point assessment. The employer also has an important part to play  in supporting the apprentice and we continue to work with fantastic local employers from across Shropshire.

County Trainings success.

Our successes come from the hard work and skills of our assessors and the dedication and commitment of our apprentices and because of this we have been able to improve our EPA process and support our apprentices to achieve.

County Training and our apprentice’s success has been recognised by the awarding body City and Guilds for the high quality and standard of our apprenticeship provision. Due to our high pass rates and high number of distinctions we are being awarded with an ‘Excellence in EPA delivery’ plaque in recognition of our services.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our dedicated staff and our hard-working apprentices who prove time and time again that with the right direction, hard work and commitment anyone can achieve and work to fulfil their potential.
